Drive-In Rack Systems in Davie, FL

If your Davie operation is dealing with humid, coastal air that shortens the life of bare steel and wire decking, that is a storage design problem, not a leasing problem. Drive-In Rack is built for exactly that situation — it turns the unused clear height in a Davie Industrial Airpark building into working pallet positions instead of aisle.

We take the pallet weights, lift truck, and usable height from your SW 30th Avenue site, weigh it against aisles traded for lanes to push positions per square foot, and come back with a drawing, a position count, and a priced bill of material. Call (954) 440-7435.

Why Davie Warehouses Work With Us

Davie operators mixing equestrian and agricultural supply with healthcare distribution usually need one part of the floor dense and another part fully selective. That split is exactly where drive-in rack tends to earn its keep near SW 30th Avenue. Our team works around the Griffin Road / Davie Industrial Airpark corridor constantly, so Davie delivery runs and follow-up visits stay short.

As part of Warehouse Equipment & Supplies Co., we have designed storage for equestrian and agricultural supply and light manufacturing operators around Griffin Road corridor since 1997 — enough history that lane dimensions drawn around your specific lift truck rarely surprises us mid-project.

We also keep the Davie drive-in rack layout on file, so adding a bay next year or adding new beam levels does not start from scratch.

    How Drive-In Rack Works

No aisles. The forklift enters the structure, and the floor holds more pallets per square foot than any other system.

    1

    Continuous rails, not beams

Pallets rest on rails carried by upright frames rather than individual beam levels, so a lane accepts pallet after pallet at the same elevation.

    2

    The truck enters the lane

The driver travels inside the bay to place or retrieve each load. Lane width, rail height, and mast clearance get dimensioned to that specific truck, not a generic one.

    3

    One open end or two

One open end gives LIFO and the highest density available. Two open ends give FIFO with slightly fewer positions, since each lane now needs clearance from both sides.

    4

    Guarding built into the design

Guide rails, column guards, and rail-end protection are part of the spec from the start, because drivers work inside the structure and clear entry paths matter.

What a Drive-In Rack Project Includes

A drive-in rack quote for Davie starts from measurements, not assumptions — clear height, column spacing, dock access, pallet weights, and which SKUs turn daily versus monthly.

From there our design team produces a CAD drive-in rack layout showing positions, elevations, and aisle widths for your Davie floor plan, plus an itemized quote so you see cost per pallet position. Where it helps, we price a second configuration on the same plan, with lane dimensions drawn around your specific lift truck, so the tradeoff between density and access is a number instead of an opinion. Load ratings for each drive-in rack level are documented in the Davie drawing, not guessed in the field.

Drive-In Rack freight is staged to fit SW 30th Avenue access, and experienced installation crews we schedule and manage build the system exactly as drawn, then verify plumb, anchor torque, and capacity tags. Phasing keeps your Davie floor operating during the install, and we schedule and manage installation for later additions or a relocation.

High volume of a small number of SKUs
Seasonal or buffer inventory held in bulk
Cold storage and freezer rooms where cube matters most
Product too fragile to floor-stack more than two high
Buildings where floor space, not height, is the binding constraint
